From cattle raised on smallholdings in the Cuneo area south of Turin. It is a deep red, very flavourful meat; highly nutritious, it lends itself to a wide variety of recipes. Its nutritional characteristics make it ideal for those requiring a high iron intake.
LAMB/MUTTON AND GOAT MEAT
Mainly produced by our own farm, these meats are rich in protein, slightly more so than beef. The meat is generally light pink, taking on a darker colour and richer flavour when the animals are grass-fed.
The meat we offer comes from breeds native to Emilia-Romagna, the Marche, Perugia and Lombardy, and are rich in vitamins A, B, D and iron. Contrary to popular belief, pork is not a fatty meat, but it is important to be careful which cuts you are eating and how the animals have been fed.
Sourced from local farms, these meats have a pleasant, fragrant smell and a light, even colour. The meat is soft and easily digested, as well as being rich in protein and low in fat.
